Rockrite® offers architects, builders and tile contractors a strong, water-durable tile base for tile counter top installations without the need for a plywood underlayment. Rockrite is specifically a monolithic backer unit utilized to install ceramic, porcelain, natural stone and other tile-like materials upon kitchen and bath counter tops, bar tops, barbeques and other surfaces. After joints are treated, ceramic tile is applied using latex fortified mortar; Rockrite meets the standards of performance of a cement board and plywood system.
